UNFILMOUS.

"Unfamous Mindframe" Official Music Video
Art and Direction by Christophe Roberts http://christopheroberts.com
Filming and Cinematography by Zubaer Khan http://zubaerkhan.com
Editing and erratic hand motions by Anacron

It's been far too long since I've delivered an official visual for you AnaManiacs. With several forthcoming music video productions halted in mid-production, I decided to take matters into my own hands. As they say, "if you want something done right, do it yourself."

On a recent trip to to the East Coast, my team made magic happen within a few free hours of a busy schedule. My NYC-based PNTGLLRYNTWRK crew members and good friends and I rallied an idea to create a visual for my latest collaboration with Daze and Diles; as it thoroughly identifies all of our artistic hustles.

Christophe Roberts (aka Perv One) is a known visual artist and sculptor, who's work can be seen all over New York and in magazines. Zubaer Khan (aka DJZu) is a seasoned cinematographer & editor that's flexed his skill for everyone from Revolt TV to CBS, and has worked on a few of my previous projects. The Brazilian homie Mauricio Tadashi (aka ChiliBreakz), the owner of the Original US merchandising and accessories company, showed up for support and good vibes. If you're up on your Peanut Gallery crew history, then you should be familiar with all of these brothas.

The result of our combined efforts is a simple, yet masterful piece. Filmed on location in Brooklyn, NY; the imagery is reminiscent of the basic freshness of early 90's styling and visuals. After watching this PNTGLLRYNTWRK family production, you'll understand the lyric, "...new Peanut Gallery / So Golden Era."

Thanks for watching... Comment, share, and ENJOY.

CAPITOL AND CAPITAL.

Nuff thanks to Red Bull & Capitol Records for featuring myself & L.A. Breakers in Capital Cities “Safe And Sound” video… Awesome day well-spent with good people, great dancers, & fresh music!
Yesterday was stellar, but I realized… Although the last time I worked with Capitol Records was quite a bit different, I wore the same jacket.

RICH GIRLS.

IT'S HERE! My new song & video, "Rich Girls"... Me on all instruments, programming, & vocals; covering one of my favorite bands, The Virgins. The digital download, paired with an eclectic hip hop track entitled "Schwing", will be available this Thursday via iTunesGoogle PlayBandcamp, & more.

If you like it, please SHARE it! If you hate it... "Awwwww, don't be like thaaaaat!"

An eclectic yet dance-ready cover of The Virgin's breakout hit; as produced, performed, and played by multi-faceted PNTGLLRYNTWRK member and founder, Anacron. The official music video, starring actress Minni Jo Mazzola (of NBC series, "Parks and Recreation", & internet webisode "The Homes"), is a playful romp between Anacron and an all-too-familiar "rich girl" stereotype; in which he questions her over-the-top princess persona.

Anacron's "Rich Girls" single will be made officially available for digital purchase and download via iTunes, Google Play, Bandcamp, and more on Thursday, August 23, 2012. The single also features an expressly eclectic hip-hop track entitled "Schwing", as well as instrumentals of both songs. More at http://AnacronMusic.com

BREAK.

Anyone that has ever listened to any release of mine knows how much I love to make songs about breakdancing. Anyone that knows me personally knows I spend a considerable amount of time on wholesome beach activities like surfing, kayaking, and bird watching. It's only right that a song colorfully entitled "Breakdance Beach" would catch my eye...

While tend to write songs about breakdancing from a more serious, knowledgable, and experienced approach, I can't deny that this one is pretty fresh. While the cornball 80's feel beat and the punchline rap stylings are borderline bboy mockery, the video definitely had me on the floor. Any video with dudes doing mills in shallow surf, popping on a speedboat, and hitting airchairs on a surfboard is an automatic WIN in my book.

Dig me and a couple of the homies getting loose at the Make It Funky street fest in downtown LA:

Super shout out to the homies Kev B & Slug from RhymeSayers... Glad to see that you guys are still putting out interesting underground hip hop.

A couple years later, and I still love this song... and video.
Nothing like electro-soft techno and sexy slimmies to get me active!

D-BOY STANCE.

The homie Killer Reese invited me to jump on a trac on his latest project, King Fantastic. The resulting effort is a little ditty colorfully entitled, "D-Boy Stance"; a trip through a party full of LA gangsters, and LA Breakers (see what I did there).

Last weekend, Reese and I spent 8 grueling (not really) hours shooting a music video for the song, from which the above stills were taken. I'm looking forward to the release of the video, as the director's ideas and vision seemed pretty interesting, and I'm real curious to see how it turns out.

Until the official music video drops, peep this live footage of "D-Boy Stance" at The Roxy on the legendary Sunset Strip in Hollywood. Go chec out that King Fantastic album too, it's one of the best releases I've heard in the past year...
